Department of Veterans Affairs Rebate (DVA)

STEP BITE STEP is a provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). If you have a Gold card or relevant condition under other card types, you will not have to pay for your visit to the Dietitian or Exercise Physiologist. If you are DVA eligible, please see your GP for a referral.

^*Access to private health rebates depends on the type and level of cover. Patients are encouraged to speak with their private health insurer regarding eligibility for Exercise Physiology and Dietetic rebates. Patients who are referred under Medicare or DVA must choose their method of claiming prior to commencing treatment; services can only be claimed under one option (Medicare or DVA or Private Health).
